As I dig through this stash of recipes, the 3×5 cards start to run together. The handwritten recipes that have been added to binders, peak my curiosity. This hand sewn little recipe book from “May 13, 1930″ had me dying to try something inside. But there was a problem.
In Spain this is served as dinner or tapas. I’m calling it breakfast.
I think we’re on to something here…something that could change the way we do brunch!
The zucchini in the garden is still plentiful so I got excited when I saw this recipe…another way to put it to good use! After all there’s been steamed zucchini, grilled zucchini, zucchini fritters, Mexican-style zucchini, zucchini bread. The list does go on, but, I can see how this is getting repetitive…so I’ll stop now.
Chicken and Pineapple Salad has ladies luncheon written all over it. I’m sure this recipe was cut out for a guild meeting, or a spring kickoff affair as the articles is titled, “Salads for 15-50″.
